Our Mission

Aleria Biodevices was founded in 2007 with the mission of accelerating and simplifying biomedical processes in research, pharmaceutical industry and clinical labs.

Technology-driven improvements in speed, technical complexity and quality of data have been instrumental in the history of biomedical sciences in order to advance human health. Aleria will build on this background and levearage its engineering know-how to revolutionise biomedical instrumentation.

We are an R&D intensive company, spin-off of the Catalonia Bioengineering Institute (IBEC) and with close links to the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). Our vision of Aleria is that of a dynamic team of engineers and scientists in a race to be the first to imagine and develop the tools that biomedical scientists and clinical practicioners need. In so doing, our employees contribute to society while enjoying their work.
